Big Bear

Ok, I am catching up on my posts! Sorry. We went to Big Bear, like, 6 months ago! We went over Ben's spring break from school. We rented a cabin with some friends and really just took some time to enjoy nature and our families. We rented a boat one day for a few hours and the boys went fishing. We also took the kids tubing, which was a lot of fun!
 This cabin was AWESOME!

Emma turns 3!

We can never do a small birthday party. Ever. It just doesn't happen in the Kuhn household. We go big or we go home. So for Emma's birthday, we got a jumpy castle, a cotton candy machine, had the little girls make crowns because the theme was from Brave, the movie. We even had a "caber toss" for the kids. I made bear claws, blue wisps, Celtic knot cookies, and carrot and celery arrows. Everyone had such a great time and most importantly, Emma really enjoyed her special day.

Bear Claws! These were a HUGE hit!

And this is me.....after it was over!

Beach Time

Our first trip of the year to Manhattan Beach! My kids are total beach people so they always want to go and never want to leave! We got out our beach tools to make castles , bricks, and a cool racetrack. This is truly one of our favorite beaches around.

Polliwog Park

Went to Polliwog Park to feed the ducks and relax! We let the kids run around and play and we brought a picnic lunch to eat and we just chilled  for a few hours!

New Year's in San Diego!

We decided to spend New Years with friends in San Diego this year. We usually just stay home, but I'm so glad we didn't! New Year's Eve is my birthday and on that morning, everyone was being super secretive about something. And then they surprised me with a ticket to see Cavalia and I LOVED it!!! So me and my friend and her daughter went to see the show and enjoyed every minute. And then when we got home, the guys surprised me with decorations and cake and pizza! I never expect anything on my birthday. I really just enjoy time with family and friends, but it was really a nice surprise! Other than seeing the show, we played ping pong for HOURS. And hours. And....hours. And we played board games until 2 in the morning. Sooo much FUN!
I think she's ready for the party!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
